Update on the JCQ Malpractice Commission

The iEOA was given a weeks notice to attend a fact-finding introductory meeting with Sir John Dunford, who is heading the JCQ Commission on Malpractice, at the JCQ offices in London.

We agreed to provide detailed information on a range of questions after the meeting as it was impossible to answer the long list of questions, given the limited time available, the lack of guidance on what would be asked, and the nature in which the meeting was held.

It was agreed with Sir John that the iEOA would therefore be given the opportunity to meet up with him independently in the New Year to discuss in detail a whole range of issues explored briefly at the first meeting so that the exams officer community would be appropriately represented, drawing on their vast source of knowledge and information which has been gathered independently by the iEOA over the past 18 years.
