Guide to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

The Guide to the GDPR explains the provisions of the GDPR to help organisations comply with its requirements. It is for those who have day-to-day responsibility for data protection.

Before undertaking our self-assessment checklist to help your organisation get ready for the GDPR, you should first determine whether your organisation processes personal data as a “data controller” or “data processor”. The definition of these two terms can be found in the Guide to the GDPR. (at the ICO)

Please look out for your section in the Exams Oracle covering GDPR and for more information and further announcements from awarding bodies on how they will operate with centres over the whole GDPR issue.
