Concern over NEAs from exam officers

Concern has been expressed locally about the implications and working of the requirements to inform candidates of the marks awarded for coursework or NEA by centres (and the subsequent opportunity for appeals against these marks) which will operate from next summer.  The convenor of the examination officers’ network group has decided to make this an agenda item for the group’s meeting in October.  It would be useful to know if this concern is widespread, or for that matter if there are any similar causes of concern in other areas of the country.

Would colleagues please drop an email - ieoa.office@examofficers.org.uk , or phone 0118 975 8552 at the iEOA office, even if it is to say that there are no matters of concern so that the Association can gauge the extent and depth of matters which are raises questions so that appropriate and effective approaches can be made to the relevant authorities.
