The National iEOA Centre Support Service (iECSS).

Background:

The International Examination Officers' Association will continue to support an emergency service for centres in difficulty. The iEOA Centre Support Service (iECSS), is a group of independent specialists who provide a local, centre-support based service to all. Please note if you are approached by any of the team independently please get in touch with the iEOA office for confirmation.

Building a legacy for the future:

The iEOA is proud to be associated with this development, which builds on all of the investment by government over a number of years, both in terms of continuing to utilise highly trained ex-civil service staff, and the establishment of a professional body, the iEOA, to help take this important support service forward.

The iECSS service:

The iECSS now provides 1:1 support for exam officers and their centres through local visits, as well as by phone and email. Just like the iEOA, the iECSS is an independent, objective and impartial service, provided by knowledgeable and very experienced experts in the field of examination management.  They are able to provide targetted and bespoke support, training and advice to all iEOA member examination centres throughout England and wider field.

Building a future iECSS team:

Are you interested - if so, what next? As a core group of iECSS members is forming, the iEOA is still seeking more exam experts to help provide full national coverage. If you are interested, or know of someone who is, and want to find out more, please make contact with Robin Turner (iECSS Principal Consultant) who is leading on this initiative for the iEOA.

Please contact Robin through the iEOA office at ieoa.office@examofficers.org.uk or call on 0118 975 8552 for further information and do not let your many years of experience be lost. This community need all the help they can get and who better than from their own peers.
