Job Holder: Salary £13,900-00
Responsible to: Examinations Manager
Responsible for:
1. Assisting in the preparation and conducting of internal and external examinations on the sixth form college site, including resits and those for external candidates.
2. Assisting with the submission of entries for GCE and GCSE examinations that form part of the Adult Continuing Education programme.
3. Assisting with the recording of accurate information and documentation about students requesting or requiring “special” provisions in examinations.
4. Assisting in the distribution of examination results, dealing with queries arising from results and administering re-mark requests.
5. Assisting with the receipt, collation and distribution of examination board certificates.
6. Assisting in the circulation of incoming information, logging important communications, ordering stationery and other materials.
7. Assisting in the maintenance of effective and secure systems of storage and retrieval for examination board materials and question papers.
8. Following the guidelines and procedures laid down by examination boards and the Joint Council for Qualifications.
9. Assisting with the taking of examination fees, issuing receipts and collating entries for examination re-sits.
10. Assisting with the taking of fees for application scripts, re-marks, and declined grades, issuing receipts and completing the necessary board forms.
11. Answering and dealing with inquiries from students, parents, members of staff, examination boards, and the public.
12. Other duties as may be reasonably allocated by the Examinations Manager.
