The EOA is working in partnership with Capita Education to help develop ICT products and training that will serve the needs of the present and future exam office community in schools and colleges.
As apart of the partnership agreement the EOA provides:
feedback on customer service provision
consultation on exams office ICT provision
consultation on future ICT developments
promotion on the EOA website and other activities
direct links to the SIMs customer support services
In return Capita provides:
support for the EOA’s professional development programme (PDP)
support for both online and workshop ICT material
access to Capita’s sites for EOA PDP workshops
support for the EOA conferences and other activities were possible
links from the Capita website to the EOA website and services

While this partnership agreement is based on a shared objective of providing future solutions to members' ICT needs, the EOA does not endorse any specific product under its charitable status. However, the EOA seeks to provide opportunities to members to explore and develop products and services that might not have become available through other avenues. Over the years the EOA has been working with awarding bodies, government agencies and ICT providers to encourage cooperation and coordination in this area. The EOA believes that this type of relationship fosters a greater sense of shared ownership in the successful delivery of present and future exam systems.
Use of the term ‘partnership(s)’ on the EOA website or any document referred to therein or any arrangement contemplated by that term shall not be construed as creating a partnership for legal purposes between the EOA and any other party concerned for any purpose whatsoever and neither party shall have the power or authority to bind the other party or impose any obligations on it for the benefit of any third party.”
