Free Trial 2012 membership

This gives new exam office staff or those who have been in post but have not yet joined an opportunity to get a flavour of the support and help offered by the EOA community. The Trial lasts for 1 month from the date of registration after which each individual will be ask if they wish to continue and will therefore be invoiced for membership or if they choose not to join, will have their full member access removed.

NB: Free trials are only applicable to UK based, BFPO, or British Schools overseas.  Please make an enquiry if you do not fall into these categories.

• We are very aware that there are exam office staff who think they are still members simply because they are given limited access to the EOA site and may still get e-newsletters. The whole EOA membership structure is being reviewed and anyone registered on the EOA website who is not a fully paid up member will be now logged as a non-member, like other stakeholders on the system and will receive a more limited service.

• Under the original formal setup of the EOA back in 2005 the EOA did commit itself to supporting, not only its own fully paid up members but a broader community, in the interests of the whole exam system. In the early days of modernisation, as part of a funding agreement with the NAA, the EOA were given targeted funds to fulfil this provision. However, that broader mantle of support was later taken over by the NAA CSO team and with it went the need to fund a broader EOA agenda.

• Despite those funds being withdrawn by QCDA this year, the EOA is still committed to providing that broader support for all the exams office community. With the forthcoming demise of QCDA the EOA is ready and waiting to take back that mantle of representation and believes that a united community can make a different to improving the exam system and all who work in it.

• If you are an ex-member please still register for the trial and get back in touch with your own peer support group. And who knows, you might still be on the EOA data base and may just have to simply log back in. If you have not had a look at the website for along time you will be surprised about how much has changed and how much you are missing out on.
