EOA Qualifications Framework
You can now register on any of the 3 BTEC courses that the EOA is offering.

We have a Self Evaluation form available to help you ascertain the level which is most appropriate for you.  If you would like to complete this self-evaluation please click here.

 

To register for a course:
  1. Fill out an application form and post it to us.
  2. On receipt of your application form an invoice for the course fee will be sent to your centre.
  3. Once payment has been received you will be able to access the course on-line.
  4. You will be allocated a tutor
  5. You can book onto a kick-start workshop.  Details of the forthcoming workshops will be posted soon

    Description of Levels

    The EOA will be running these courses combining the use of stakeholder network groups, workshops and our new online BTEC provision with access to the most up to date resources and training that will provide members with a range of learning options that suit their personal needs.

    Level 2: Administering Exams (Introduction)

    Ideally suited to new exams office personnel who are in a support role on a specific area within your centre.

    • you may be new or have very little experience of the exam/education community.

    Level 3: Administering Examinations (Advanced)

    Ideally suited to exams office personnel who are going to/are already taking full responsibility for the management of exams in your centre.

    • you may bring management and office expertise from another environment but have little or no experience of the exams/education community.

    Level 4: Examinations Management (Professional)

    Ideally suited to experienced exams office personnel who may have been in post for some years and now need to up grade their knowledge and experience on the exams system and/or want to have their role qualified and quantified to SLTs by doing a formal qualification for exams office personnel.

    • you may have extensive experience of the exam/education community but now need to update, evaluate, record and acknowledge your valuable contribution to your centre's examination processes
