Your Board of Trustees need your Help

The 11th annual survey for academic year 2010/11 is available to members and non-members until the end of October but just before you click off to something else why not read the following article based upon a discussion in the recent Board of Trustees meeting about serving the future needs of our members.

The obvious question being asked at this meeting 'was how can the EOA serve the needs of its members and that of the wider community if members and non-members did not tell them what was at the top of their agenda'.

In that discussion with the board, as it turned out, some members of the board had not got around to filling out their survey and that was partly related to a feeling we all have about filling out any survey. But this EOA survey is no ordinary survey. The information gathered will help drive the future agenda affecting our community. The simple case is, do members want that agenda to be directed by other stakeholders or by them.
