JCQ - announcement on November exam timetable

Following last week’s JCQ meeting and a brief discussion on possible amendments to the GCSE November 2011 examination timetable in light of the Muslim festival of Eid-ul-Adha, an e-mail message listing changes to the GCSE November 2011 examination timetable will be sent out to centres.

 

In view of the concerns from centres, principally in the North West of England, the JCQ Common Timetable Working Group has revised the GCSE November 2011 examination timetable so that no examinations will now be scheduled on Monday 7 November 2011. The JCQ have therefore allowed a further day's grace for those candidates who wish to celebrate the Muslim festival of Eid-ul Adha.
