It’s down to YOU – building  your local network

This story has three very important bits of good news to all those exam office staff out there who might be feeling under pressure and sadly, feeling even more isolated in their role.

SISRA one of the EOA’s partners is committed to supporting the need to create new and/or help maintain exam office groups in your area, so SISRA have agreed to support five new meeting groups to be launched in the autumn. So please look out for future announcements.

Sylvia Williams, an Exam Officer at Cirencester Deer Park School has just taken up her FREE Membership of the EOA as a Leader of a Network group. Sylvia is following the same model as the group we reported on in Lincolnshire earlier in the year. Sylvia will be sharing her groups agenda and we hope many more will opt for the same approach in a effort to support all their colleagues at a local level.

But it must not stop there. All these individual isolated groups, joined together through the EOA website Network Tool can bring all the local and regional representation onto a national stage with a more powerful voice. The EOA is committed to supporting this local grass roots community which sits at the heart of the education/exam system and which is based upon local needs that can then be  translated a more professional organised and informed way to a national stakeholder community.
