Nigerian success story

Back in March the EOA hosted to the head of the Nigerian exams delivery - Ahmed Talib Imam with a clear brief to update the whole exams system and put in place practices and procedures which would establish a sound base for developing Nigerian education for the twenty first century.

Nigeria, like many countries including the UK, have been very concerned with the delivery of a creditable exams system which everyone values and respects around the world. One of the focuses of the EOA is not only to encourage and establish a more professional workforce to support exams delivery but to also promote and share good practice on exam delivery standards and guidelines.

Ahmed has just informed the EOA that his programme of change is being implemented in April next year across Nigeria, based upon the March course on delivering creditable exams which had also been presented in South Africa in May this year to a number of neighbouring countries concerned about their exam delivery.

The EOA would like to wish Nigeria and all the other countries the EOA is in contact with across the world, the very best in their exams delivery programmes and reference that the UK does have a exam system that can make a valuable contribution to good practice and excellence in education and exam development.
